Dette closes her eyes so she will not know when it's going to get pulled. She starts thinking of something obnoxiously distracting and starts thinking of the theme song from Happy Days until the blade flies out of her back. when the pain hit the thinking turns to loud, grunting hums to the song for a moment. Then back to thoughts.

Dette looks at Locke then the sky. 'I guess she can't guard his body forever' She clenches her fist just slightly. 'I want to be ready for her next time,' She looks back down at the ground. She looks back to Locke and smiles slightly. "We should go home now," she says.
